Our PAINTED Nursery!

My husband and I had been going back and forth on ideas of what to do in our little girls nursery. We thought we finally narrowed down the colors to three. But I just didn't want to do half the room this, half the room that, I didn't wan't stripes, I really didn't only want three colors either! I searched the web for different ideas we could do and came across a couple of pictures with squares! We both loved them but we were pretty skeptical at first because we aren't painters but we wanted to do it anyway. Here is the process.....

*This is the very beginning when we were testing out some colors we picked out

*Our masking job! This required  painters tape, a level, tape measure, pencil, 4 hands, and TONS of patience! (This step took WAY longer then the painting!)

* Almost there.....We were SO excited to be done but then we had to wait until it dried to take the tape off! I'm not going to lie, I was a but nervous as to what it would turn out like!

*No more tape, the FINISHED product!!!! I couldn't stop smiling and just staring at it!

*We HAD to do a high five for a all our hard work ;)

*Does baby like it....? We think YES! (she better!)

*Tah-DAH!

I am SO happy we attempted this, it's not something we would usually try but I kept saying, you know, this is the ONLY room in the entire house we have painted so might as well go all our right? We are both so happy and when we walk in the room we just can't stop grinning. I told my husband I really don't want to put the furniture back, haha! I will try and remember to take a picture once I put everything back :) I also want to add I have the GREATEST, most WONDERFUL husband for doing this on his birthday weekend, Thanks Hun! ;)

Oh My Baby Fever!

Yes, I have baby fever....BAD! I have been researching everything lately about getting ready health wise, what can I buy, what to wait on, and so on. It's all I can think about! Josh and I spent 2-3 hours in Babies R Us last weekend just looking at every little thing in the store we may need! I was in heaven haha. We even picked out what car seat we will want to buy :) This in between marriage and baby is taking forever. Due to my 12 month waiting period on my insurance we can't TTC until november :( I have all this time to just wait.... I guess I will try and be prepared as possible. I hope it goes by fast!

P90x

Josh and I started P90x with two friends of ours on Monday and we are LOVING IT! It is really tough workout but we are on day four right now and I'm actually looking forward to doing it everyday :) I already feel better just exercising. I wish I could be eating a little better though, that's my goal next week :) I'm really looking forward to the results! I want to lose weight but if I don't and only get toned, well I'd be super happy with that too.

2011 a little late... :)

I sure home 2011 will be a good year :) It's hard to think that I wouldn't even be married right now if we didn't decide to change out wedding date! I haven't updated my blog in forever so here's what's new!

-Josh and I just ordered the P90x workout videos and received them in the mail yesterday, it looks so intense, I think I'm going to die! I'm not sure what exactly we were thinking but I really want to do it, I NEED to do it. It's time to get back in shape and feel good about myself!

-I'm in that boring in between stage, not much to look forward to right now, except summer of course! We still talk about babies all the time even though we KNOW we can't even try until late November early December :)

-I'm getting really tired of my job. I'm not sure how people do that job for so many years, seriously I know it's "only a preschool" but it is so physically and mentally exhausting! The winter is a killer because the kids have so much dang energy but we can't get them outside to run around and tire themselves out :( I feel like I'm constantly yelling at them because they are just getting bored and causing trouble, I don't want to be the mean crazy teacher!

-Still not driving. This spring/summer we need to go and try and fine a new car. We LOVE the Genesis but what the heck were we thinking? Sports car in North Idaho? Really? Maybe if you are rich and have another car for the winter! It's been a drag not driving myself ALL winter. Josh takes me to work, I stay there on my lunch, and my friend Jessica takes me home every night. I HATE relying on other people for transportation. So even though we want to keep the Genesis we need to get something big enough for a car seat and something with AWD or 4WD. Something more practical obviously! lol

-I'm going to (hopefully) try and make two brand new recipes each week, something we don't usually eat. I think it will give me something to do and also we need new dinner ideas! Cooking isn't my favorite thing but I don't always mind it. I just hate cooking stuff that has a bunch of random ingredients I will never use again! Or ingredients I don't even like :)

Time is flying by...

I can't believe it is only 12 day until Christmas! I'm so excited! I can't wait to spend another Christmas with my "new" hubby :)

After MONTHS of using a mini fridge...did I mention it was mini? We are finally getting a new fridge on WEDNESDAY!!! I swear its all the little things that make me so happy!

I got to drive the Genesis today because the roads are all melted and I forgot how nice it is just to drive, the feeling you get in the car, things when I drove everyday I took for granted.

As much as I love Christmas I can't wait until its over and I can start paying off bills, yes not as fun but I need to! I want to try and get most of my non-monthly bills paid off this year, that is my goal for the new year (maybe lose some pounds...but doesn't everyone pick that one?! lol I figure if I don't make that my resolution if I don't lose weight I'm not failing...?)

Well I better go and finish my lunch :)

Snow, snow, and more snow

It's finally pleasant outside today. The snow is melting almost as fast as its coming down. Why can't it always work like that? Josh and I finally got the christmas decorations out last night and started decorating. We did everything but the tree, we need to buy another stand of lights, I swear christmas lights are the worst when one blows out! Josh went through the entire strand trying to find the one that was out but he never found it. Yesterday I was looking at flameless candles and I was trying to figure out why we have regular candles anymore. The ones I was looking at were scented, real wax, and you could set a timer for how long you wanted it to stay on! Isn't that crazy? And you would think they would be so much more expensive than regular candles, but have you see the price of a good candle these days? I can't believe it. I may have to invest in these so called flameless candles :) Plus, they never burn out, you just replace the batteries lol. Well, I haven't updated in a while so I figured I would. Maybe I will post Christmas pictures when we are all done. ;)

Health Insurance

Yay! I'm finally getting health insurance. I sent in my application at the end of October and I found out last night it was approved!! I'm most excited because now we wait 12 months and we can start trying to conceive, if we still want to in a year, I'm sure we will :) At least now if I get sick I can ACTUALLY go to the doctor!

My Fantasy Football Team!

Ok, ok, so in the beginning I wasn't sure if I could ever get into the whole football thing every Sunday... I must say I am writing this just to brag before it's too late...I'm #1 in my fantasy football league!! I'm 6-1! Isn't that fricken sweet! Josh is moving up in his league, he is #3, not quite as good as me ;) This week is a tough one, I can't decide what guys I want to play, its so hard to choose sometimes! Anyway, I was proud, just had to share that :)

Life...

I suck at this blog thing! I always want to update but never do. Everything has been crazy for Josh and I lately. Things just keep happening, good and bad. Our Fridge broke, we didn't have money to fix it so we are using my grandma's mini fridge. We got a quote to fix it and they want $500 just to FIX it! It's like half of a brand new one! Josh and I decided to keep my sister's truck so I finally got insurance on it. We drove it for a couple of days and now something is wrong with is and we are going to try and fix it this weekend...I hope! We need another car for this winter, I don't want to continue to be car-less and have to walk in the winter...yuck! Since everything is breaking, the t.v. decided to get all dumb on us. Now every time we turn it on we have to wait about 15 minutes for the entire screen to work properly, half the screen is black until it warms up. Things just keep on happening one after another, its crazy!

I just got yet another new little girl in my class at the daycare. I now have a total of 14 terrible two year olds! I have 12 on one day, thankfully I don't have all 14 on one day, yet. I'm getting another new kid on Monday. I'm going to go insane! They are hoping to open another two year old class because I'm just getting too many. Especially with that age it's nice to have under ten because they are so busy. I'm starting to get more and more into my routine at work. It takes the kids a while to get used to things, routine seems to be the best thing for them.

I've been looking into health insurance for when Josh and I decide to have a baby. I have finally narrowed it down to 2 different plans, it took me forever to figure out what everything meant! I think i get it pretty good now. I think it's dumb that on both of the plans you have to pay $5,000 before they cover anything. $5,000?!! Seriously? Who has that lying around? Anyway, we aren't having a baby for a while, mostly because I have to have the insurance plan for 12 months before I can even get pregnant. I suppose it's a good thing, we have time to plan and try and save money, if possible. I'm excited to have a time though. I just want to get it asap so I don't have to wait too much more than a year.

I've never been into the NFL at all. Josh is and I've finally gotten used to watching football every sunday ALL day LONG! It's more fun for me now because since Josh already had a fantasy football team, I got one too! It makes it WAY more fun to watch. It's actually pretty exciting sometimes. It's funny how things change once you are with someone, me watching football? What?!

I'm MARRIED!

I can't believe we are married! I'm so excited! I hope everyone enjoyed the wedding. I had so much fun and I think it turned out really great :) Again, thanks to Valeri, Alex, Meri, Heidi, and Melenie for setting everything up. Thank you AGAIN! I'm a Mrs now! Josh and I were trying to decide if we feel any different, we decided a little but we are just very happy to be married. I love my new name too...Amanda Jean Mohror, I think it sounds great! Well I will post pictures soon!

Only Two More Days!

I can't believe our wedding is only two more days away! Everyone keeps asking if I'm excited. I am super excited but I still don't think it will really sink in until Saturday when I'm getting ready and probably about the throw up from nerves when I'm about to walk down the aisle! I really hope I can get ready early in the hotel, it would be a pain to get ready here at the house. Thanks again to VALERI and her AMAZING Family! I wouldn't have been able to accomplish this without out you guys! I LOVE YOU ALL! Thank you so much :) Off to work now!

Stupid Appliances...

So two nights ago our freezer decides NOT to do its job anymore. Josh went to go eat his ice cream and the entire thing was liquid. Everything was defrosting. We were hoping the fridge wouldn't quit on us so we turned the temperature cooler and hoped for the best. The next morning I woke up and of course it quit working. Yay....right after we just went grocery shopping we got to throw all of our food away, how lame is that! Luckily my grandma brought us down a mini fridge to borrow for the time being. We'll see if its even worth fixing. It's only four stinkin years old!

My New Class!

So today we had our staff meeting! I'm moving to a two-three year old class this year and I'm super excited to actually teach shapes, colors, letters, numbers and all that good stuff! I will also get to do more crafts then my previous toddler class. It's seriously going to be an insane year though, I found out that on my most full day I have 12 kids! Did I mention they are young twos and a few threes! 12 of them!!! And as of right now only 3 of them are potty trained and the rest...well I get to potty train them throughout the year. AHHH!!! I'm still super excited though. I may post pictures of my classroom when I get it all finished with decorating the walls and such. I love my new room and I also love that I no longer have to change so many poopy diapers everyday..yay!!!
